Receiving Validation for Spreading the Teachings of Vedanta
Reaching milestones and continuing the journey
Some time ago, I received, to my great satisfaction, an appreciation letter from Jayashankar Krishnamurthy, further enhancing the credibility of my Substack channel. I am writing this post to share this exciting development with you. Over the past year, Jayashankar and I have collaborated closely within my podcast, "Cosmic Dancer Lo-Fi Music - Hi-Fi Faith," with a dedicated focus on spreading Vedanta philosophy. We have aimed to introduce this ancient philosophy to younger generations and highlight its compatibility with contemporary disciplines, fostering meaningful dialogue and important milestones and receiving recognition for one's work can be immensely satisfying. After dedicating over a year to producing my podcast "Cosmic Dancer - Lo-Fi Music / Hi-Fi Faith" and publishing 100 episodes aimed at spreading the teachings of Vedanta philosophy, received an appreciation letter from Jayashankar Krishnamurthy that brought me an enormous sense of fulfilment.
My fiction novel “Shankara's Bhaja Govindam: Chronicle of an Abduction in Varanasi”, is available from July 1st on Google Books, but I plan to extend the publication to other platforms as well.
Jayashankar Krishnamurthy, Executive Trustee of Vedanta Institute Hyderabad and Senior disciple of the eminent Vedanta philosopher Swami Parthasarathy, congratulated me on this accomplishment. In his letter, he highlighted my enthusiasm and interest in various fields, particularly Vedanta Philosophy, and how it has been well-reflected in my podcast.
He appreciated my research in choosing topics and resource persons for the podcast, and how it has impacted the lives of many listeners worldwide by sowing the seed of curiosity in Vedanta. He acknowledged my service to humanity by providing an opportunity to dispel ignorance. He ended by wishing me happiness and peace.
Receiving such heartfelt recognition from an esteemed member and teacher within the Vedanta community has validated all the work I have put into creating and sharing this podcast over the last year. It has inspired me to continue dedicating myself to spreading Vedanta and interweaving its timeless teachings with different creative endeavours to make them more accessible to all. As Swami Vivekananda said, "Only by falling into the sea, can the wave become unlimited as the wave could never be. Then after becoming the sea, it can become the wave again, and as big as it likes. Stop identifying with the current and know that you are free.”
May we all realize this infinite freedom.
I am eager to participate in research and produce content on Cross-Cultural Philosophy. Considering the many philosophy professors following Learn Vedanta Substack from universities across the five continents, I would be truly honoured to be involved in projects, as I have been recently approached. Please feel free to contact me.
I have woven tales to share, for any who care to read them. My books await you on Google Books. Check also my stories on Medium.com.
